I'm a complex soul in a simple body. My dreams don't fit and the path I'm on won't get me anywhere. But why frown when life throws you a hundred reasons to smile?

Look at what I finally got! My plan ends in May but I went in to see if I could get it ended early because I pay insurance and my phone was cracked blah blah blah. Long story short, I ended up taking my sister’s upgrade and she’ll get mine.
I haven’t put it down once… oops.

Remember this picture? It’s from Relay For Life last year. That night was one of the most eye-opening experiences I’ve ever had. Our team was walking for Ashton, who I bought the luminary for. Ashton was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in 2009 and just recently went into remission. I was good friends with his brother, Blake, for a few years, so when the chance came around, I walked for Ashton at Relay. I only did it because I wanted to and I never thought he’d find out or anything. But this January, I ended up sitting with him in Psychology. Once Ashton realized who I was, he asked me to walk on his team this year at Relay. Relay is the night before prom this year so I’m iffy about it, but after him requesting it, I’m definitely leaning towards doing it. Ashton thanked me and requested me to do it again, so that meant a lot.

This is really the opposite of my mood/day/week. Hopefully things start looking up soon, but I’m full of sheer optimism right now. I’ll take it day by day until I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
High school is hard, man. I wouldn’t wish this shit on my worst enemy.

Hey Wawa, this one’s for you! Worked last night for 7.03 hours, which is over the legal limit because I worked past 10. Also worked with only one deli person and one register person, store maintenance guy, and a shift manager. (Four people when we normally have 6 on a Sunday night.) Then was written up because I couldn’t multi-task.
So I made my own form of payback. I drained each register of all its money and didn’t tell anybody, then I stayed after 10 o’clock, which will land my shift manager a $500+ fine and could land them jail time. So fuck you Lauren, and fuck you Mrs. Sharon, and fuck you wawa 569.

I lack so much confidence lately. Like it has dramatically gone down in the past few months. That sucks.
But I’ve been wearing my hair natural because it hasn’t actually looked that bad recently.

I really, really, really want to go back to Brooklyn.
Or maybe just back to this exact weekend.
Or both.
